Subject: DIRECTIONS The old farmer walked down the path to his mail box. When he reached the road, a car stopped and the fellow driving said, "Sir, could you....." "What, what? I can barely hear you." "Where is Augusta, Sir?" the driver asked loudly. "You really must speak up, stranger. I'm a little hard of hearing." "I'M L O S T," shouted the driver. WHERE IS AUGUSTA?" "Sorry, we bought one last month...don't need another," replied the farmer. The stranger realized that he wasn't going to get the directions he needed, so he continued up the road for a mile to the next farmhouse. He got out of his car, walked onto the porch, and knocked on the door. A lady answered his knock. "Pardon me, Ma'am....." "Continue three miles up the road, turn left, and go two miles to Augusta," she blurted. "I could hear you shouting all the way back at Luke's place!"
